The mission of IT Security is to educate and equip the University community to appropriately manage information risk. This effort is advanced through policies, an information security program, and supporting tools and guidance that empower the University community to manage risk and prevent the unintentional, unlawful, or unauthorized disclosure, alteration, or destruction of IT resources.
Compliance with University information security policies and standards is expected for all organizational units (e.g. schools and departments), information systems, and communication systems. If control(s) required by University policy including the Secure UD Data Governance & Security Program (Secure UD DGSP) cannot be complied with, submit an exception request
