Bugzilla: Find a Bug Report

  • If you know the bug number, enter it in one of the Search fields located at the top and bottom of the UD Bugzilla homepage.

  • If you don't know the bug number, there are several ways to find your bug.

    • Click the bug link in one of the Bugzilla emails that you have received.

    • Click the My Bugs link at the top or bottom of any Bugzilla page, and then scan the list for the bug number you want.

    • Click on the Search link at the top or bottom of any Bugzilla page. This will open the search screens where you can choose between the tabs Simple Search and Advanced Search

  • On the Simple Search tab, you can search for keywords that may be in the bug description or comments. You can also narrow your search to a specific Status or Product.

  • On the Advanced Search tab, you can:

    • Perform a keyword search of bug Summary values.

    • Narrow your search based on a combination of Product, Component, Status, and Resolution values.

    • Click to open the Detailed Bug Information section and narrow results by the following fields: Comments, URL, Whiteboard, Deadline, Bug Numbers, Version, Severity, Priority, Hardware, OS.

    • Click to open the Search By People section and narrow results to a the role that a specific person has on a bug (i.e. assignee, reporter, cc member, or commenter).

    • Click to open the Search By Change History section and narrow results to how fields have changed during a specific time period.

    • Click to open the Custom Search section to create a complex query.
