Who can use it?
- Those who have been notified that access to an individual UD Google account will be removed.
- Those who have lost access to an individual UD Google account.
What is it?
At this time, active UD faculty and staff, alumni, and retirees may keep their individual UD Google accounts if those accounts remain within the UD Google Storage limits. Depending on someone’s affiliation with UD, a Google account that exceeds the storage limit for an extended time or that is owned by someone no longer at UD, may be removed or deleted. Notifications are sent to account holders prior to actions taken on an account.
This service exists so that those who will lose access to an individual Google account and those who have already lost access to an individual Google account can
- Explore options for keeping the account active.
- Request additional time to export data from the account prior to deletion.
- Recover the account and its data (if applicable).
