Finding the MAC address for a browserless device

Tags connection

Before being used on UD's network, a device's MAC address must be registered. Devices with a web browser (i.e., computers, tablets, and smartphones) can connect directly to the UDel_Guest network before being connected to the eduroam network.

A device without a web browser will require you to register the MAC address when you register that device for the UD Devices network.

Follow the vendor's directions for finding your device's MAC address. A MAC address is a combination of 12 numerals and letters (0-9, a-f), often displayed with a -, : or . character between groups of characters. (Example: 77:c6:f8:95:b3:a6)
