Commercial Platforms

• The Office of Communications and Marketing digital team currently supports MailChimp, which is free for lists of up to 2,000 subscribers. MailChimp provides detailed data about subscriber profiles (engagement, website activity) as well as tools to view the impact of your campaigns.

  MailChimp's list management features are also compatible with the US CAN-SPAM Act.

Campus Resources

The University provides many options for communicating with groups of people. See Mailing Lists at UD for detailed information about your options. Note: the options listed below do not provide tracking data.

• Google Groups: email and discussion forum
• P.O. Box lists: email lists for pre-defined groups of people with UD email addresses
• P. O. Box bulk mail tickets: occasional email messages to large groups of recipients
• Other lists: The University has certain email lists to which access is restricted. University policy governs the sending of campus wide emails, which require approval from University executive management. See Policy 1-21 and University Policy 1-19 Employees’ Use of E-Communication
