Faculty and Staff of College of Engineering and Lerner College.
What is it?
The IT teams within the College of Engineering and College of Business and Economics share responsibility for the academic spaces with support teams aligned with the unit who submitted a request. Any organization needing support in the Fintech space should coordinate with their unit’s IT support team or University Media Services by submitting a Fintech Support Request
All rooms are considered self-service. The Colleges will provide documentation and user training for their units. Training may be requested by other University IT support teams and can be provided dependent on the College IT support workload
Lerner IT and College of Engineering are not able to provide immediate support in the event of a technical issue disrupting a class or event. The teams will work to respond as quickly as possible; outlined here are the several types of support provided and the expected turnaround time:
Onsite and remote troubleshooting for AV hardware and integrations
- 1 business day. College staff are unable to provide immediate problem resolution and temporary solutions may require moving rooms or using alternative equipment.
Faculty consultations
Equipment maintenance, installation, and repair
- 3 business days to account for troubleshooting, identification of an issue, implementation of a workaround or fix.
Coordinating with College staff and AV vendors for maintenance, installation, and repair
- Dependent on the External Vendor Service Plan and specific Service Level Agreements
- Vendor on-site support is available within 48 hours and problem resolutions may take longer.
Support hybrid course offerings through consultation and day-of support in partnership with College of Engineering and Lerner IT
- Requests should be received five (5) business days prior to the hybrid event.
- All rooms equipped with Cameras and Microphones and are considered self-service except for the Conference Center 501
The College IT staff is unable to provide on-site event support for events coordinated outside of the College’s Event Management team.
