Adobe Acrobat Professional Licenses at UD

The University of Delaware does not have a site-wide license for Adobe Acrobat Professional. Licenses are assigned per user, and must be requested through the IT Support Center. UD grants Adobe Acrobat DC Pro licenses only to full-time faculty and staff who require the full functionality of Adobe Acrobat Pro.

If you need to install Adobe DC in a computer lab, please contact the IT Support Center

Before requesting an Adobe Acrobat Pro license, consider that most work regarding PDF files can be completed without Adobe Acrobat Professional. Most modern day web browsers allow for viewing a PDF file. You can install and use Adobe Acrobat Reader to

  • Sign PDF documents
  • Read PDF files

You can save a file as a PDF

  • in Microsoft Office
  • by printing a document to a PDF file
