Microsoft is Ending Support for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008/R2

Effective January 14, 2020, Microsoft will no longer support or provide security updates for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008/R2.

If you continue to use Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008/R2 after support has ended, your system will still work, but it may become more vulnerable to security risks and viruses.
