Communications


The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) Communications team supports communications for CAS units. Use the CAS Communications Project Request form to start any new project. Tickets are routed to a shared queue. The team reviews each request daily, assigns work and posts updates in the ticket as the project moves forward.

Before you submit

Gather the following:

  • A short, meaningful project title
  • Project details (audience, goals, timing, links)
  • Copy in a Word .doc or Google Doc
  • Images as original .png or .jpg files
  • Any budget information, if relevant (for merchandise, advertising or other paid items)

How to submit

  1. Open the CAS Communications Project Request form.
     
  2. Complete all required fields marked with an asterisk (*).
     
  3. Upload supporting files (see “File attachments”).
     
  4. Submit the form. You will receive an email confirmation from UD Services.

Field-by-field guidance

Requestor
List the person responsible for the request. If another colleague should be included, add them when prompted.

Acct/Dept
Select the account or department that applies to the work.

Project title
Provide a concise, descriptive title.

Meeting needed
Indicate if you would like to schedule a meeting about the project.

Additional contact
Add another collaborator if applicable.

What type of request is this?
Choose one option below. You will see additional questions based on your selection.

File attachments

  • Upload text in a Word .doc if not providing a Google Doc. Provide images as original .png or .jpg files. Logos may be .png
     
  • You may select multiple files at once before clicking Upload.
     
  • The file size limit at submission is 20 MB per attachment. To add larger or additional files after submitting:
     
    • You may also use UD Dropbox to share large files. Include the ticket ID in the message to recipients.

After you submit

  • Your ticket enters the CAS Communications queue. The team reviews and assigns work based on scope and timing.
     
  • We will communicate next steps, request clarifications if needed and post status updates in the ticket throughout the project lifecycle.
