Can I change my location after it is set?
Yes. You can update your work location through Outlook whenever your schedule changes.
Do I have to share my location?
Microsoft Places uses work location information to provide its features. Users can manage their work location settings and update them as needed. The settings allow you to choose between these sharing options:
- Others can't view any location information
- Others can view general location (office or remote)
- Others can view all location details
What happens if I work from multiple locations?
You can configure, review and update your work location settings in Outlook. If an automatically detected location does not match your plans, you can change the location manually.
