Zoom Cloud Storage

Zoom Cloud Storage is part of your UD Zoom account. When you record your Zoom meeting using the Zoom cloud option, your recording is automatically added to your Zoom Cloud Storage. Additionally, most recordings will also be automatically added to your My Media in Canvas and UD Capture Space. Learn more. Zoom Cloud Storage is temporary. The Zoom Cloud Storage retention schedule is as follows:
 
  • Zoom cloud recordings expire after 60 days and are automatically moved to the Zoom cloud trash. Items in the trash are not playable.

  • Zoom cloud recordings are permanently deleted 30 days after they’re added to the Zoom cloud trash (whether added manually or automatically).

  • Recordings can be recovered from the trash temporarily. Recovered items that are 60 or more days old will be automatically put back in the trash after 24 hours.
