Opening a shared calendar in Microsoft Outlook (Windows)
From the File menu, choose Open, and then select Other User’s Folder.
- Click the Name button, and find the name of the person whose calendar you want to open.
- Select the name, and then click the OK button.
- Set the Folder type to calendar, and click OK.
- The calendar appears in the Shared Calendars section of Outlook.
Opening a shared calendar in Microsoft Outlook (macOS)
- From the bottom navigation bar, click Calendar.
- From the Organize tab, click Open Shared Calendar.
- In the Search box, type the name of the person who has granted you access to their calendar, and press Enter.
- Select the name of the person whose calendar you need to access, and click Open.

- From macOS calendar, choose Calendar, Preferences, and then click Accounts → Open & Export.
- Select the calendar account, and then click Delegation.
- Click Add, and then enter the user name of the person whose calendar you want to open.
- The calendar appears in the Shared Calendars section of Outlook.
Opening a shared calendar in Microsoft Outlook on the web
From the calendar window at https://outlook.office.com:
- Click .Add calendar.
- Click Add from Directory.
- Choose your account from the drop-down.
- Type the full email address of the person who shared their calendar
- In the Add to section, choose the section in Outlook where the calendar should appear.
- Click Add.
