Context
Budget categories are the building blocks of the student budget. The listing below shows all active categories even though some are not being used for current budgets. In SFS we generally opt to not delete old/unused items to keep historical data. For current automated budget assignments the system uses the categories: BOOK, TUIT, FEES, HOUS, FOOD, TRVL, & MISC. Operation staff also use the "ADJ" categories when inputting professional judgement.
