Using Internet Explorer with UD Applications

Complete the following steps to set up your IE browser to recognize UD servers as trusted sites. This will enable Help or printer-friendly windows to open.

  1. In Internet Explorer, go to: Tools ⇒ Internet Options ⇒ Security ⇒ Trusted Sites.

    Add the following as a trusted site: https://udapps.nss.udel.edu

    If you use UDSIS, add https://udsa.nss.udel.edu

    If you use WordPress, add https://sites.udel.edu

    If you use the reporting tool COGNOS, add https://cognos.udel.edu

  2. On this same Security tab with Trusted Sites selected, hit the "Custom level" button.

    Look down the list to "Downloads" and click enable for the following item: File download

  3. In Internet Explorer, go to Tools-Internet Options, then click the Privacy tab. In the Pop-up Blocker section, click the Settings button.

    Add the following as an allowed site: https://udapps.nss.udel.edu

    If you use UDSIS, add https://udsa.nss.udel.edu

    If you use the reporting tool COGNOS, also add https://cognos.udel.edu
