Home Purchase Assistance Program

The Home Purchase Assistance Program offers a one-time payment of $5,000.00 to all full-time, exempt, benefited employees who purchase a home. The home must be the primary residence, and it must be within a commutable distance of no more than 50 miles from the campus where the employee works.

Once the home is purchased, and the employee has gone through the closing process, the employee must go to https://services.udel.edu/TDClient/32/Portal/Requests/TicketRequests/NewForm?ID=WT%7e8y8Nl8Ks_.

Complete and submit the Home Purchase Assistance Program Form. Attach a copy of the closing documents to the form. If the full set of closing documents is not available, we will accept a signed copy of the closing disclosure or a signed copy of the settlement statement. Once the payment of the benefit has been approved, the taxable sum of $5,000.00 will be added to the employee’s next pay.
