Summary

CAS Communications has created a platform to promote the variety of faculty research activities. We are piloting the platform with the arts, humanities and social sciences. This article will explain what is included and how to get involved.

Communications

Goal: Create a platform to promote current faculty books authored or co-authored by UD faculty; chapters in significant publications authored or co-authored by UD faculty; and journal articles authored or co-authored by UD faculty. 

CAS Website

The CAS Digital team has created a page under Research & Innovation for Publications that is populated by news pages that are tagged as “publications.”

Listings on this page also appear as news items on the homepage of the faculty member’s department website.

Units that wish to feature a “research” or “publications” module on their websites may submit a project request form.

Submission procedure

Submissions should be for current publications, within the previous 12 months. To submit a publication, faculty should complete this form, which requests the following information:

  • Image (required for book and chapter publications; not used for journal articles)
  • image permission
  • authors
  • publisher
  • publication date
  • link
  • 100-300 word blurb*

*Text may be edited for length, style and consistency with the UD brand

Additional Resources

  • Faculty activity and accolades, including publications, can also be submitted to OCM’s weekly For the Record article through the Project Request Form.
  • Journal articles can be added to the Institutional Repository.
  • Once items are listed in the repository, they can be aggregated on individual faculty bio pages by request. Submit the request through the Project Request Form
  • Google Scholar Citations can be linked on faculty bio pages by request. Please submit a Project Request Form
