Test Scoring and Frequency Scanning Forms Submission

Who can use it?

Faculty, Staff

What is it?

The computerized Test Scoring program is used to grade multiple choice examinations. This program compares student answers to answers on an Instructor Control form and produces scoring information. The program processes the following standard optical scanner forms used at the University of Delaware:

  • A brown student response form allows for 160 answers from A to E.
  • A blue instructor control form is used for the answer key and to request special options.

This request is used to submit your forms for processing.

How to use it?

The process for submitting the Test Scoring job for processing has been changed from obtaining a Test Scoring Request Card at the Service Desk when dropping off the forms to submitting an online request.  Once you have submitted a request, you will receive an email notice from UD Services that includes the ticket number and a link to the ticket request.  Submission requests should be made before dropping off your forms at the Service Desk in 004 Smith Hall.  When you drop off your forms, provide the ticket number for your request to the Service Desk representative.  If you don't have your ticket number, the Service Desk representative can look up your request by your name and class/session information.  A bin number will be added to the ticket information and you will be able to check the status of your submission through the ticket information.
